The Yusup Haas Hajifu Mazar(Mazar refers to tomb), located in the schoolyard of Twelfth Primary School in Tiyu Road of the southeastern suburbs of today’s Kashgar City, is an architectural complex with style of Uyghur traditional buildings Islam tombs. The whole tomb was composed of gatehouse, garden prayer hall, tombs and main coffin chamber with rich Uyghur styles, unique layout and primitive and simple decorations, giving a solemn feeling. The tomb owner was the writer of famous dissuasivephilosophical poem Happiness and Wisdom, which was renowned as two cultural classics of Karahan Dynasty together with Turkic Dictionary, in the Karahan Dynasty of 11th century.

Happiness and Wisdom, with the meaning of “knowledge endowing people with happiness”and a core idea of exhorting rulers to govern countries justly with legal system, was recognized by scholars as “enjoy various research values with broadly reflecting the profound content of social reality, deeply explaining the rich philosophy, beautiful and elegant art of poetry and blending the nation culture and various foreign culture and. And this plays an important role in Chinese ancient cultural history and central Asia cultural history”(“Translator’s Preface”to the Chinese version of Happiness and Wisdom).

Happiness and Wisdom laid the foundation for determining the Uyghur Rubai poetic tradition and deeply influenced the poetry creation of the scholars of Uyghur and other nationalities.
