Location:

Wuqing enjoys a unique advantage because of its location and has been called the “Corridor of Beijing and Tianjin”. It is between Beiing and Tianjin-adjacent to Beijing on its north side and to Hebei Province on its west and northeast districts.

Transportation:

Wuqing possesses a convenient and fast modern transport systen. Within the district there are 5 major roads: the Beijing-Tianjin-Tanggu, the Beijing-Tianjin, the Beijing-Shanghai, the Tianjin-Baoding and the Tianjin-Ji County expressways. There are 12 expressway entrances and exits and the Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Railway which has an intermediate stop that is only 19 minutes away from Beijing and 10 minutes from Tianjin.

Within 15 minutes drive of any village or street in the area, you will find an expressway entrance and be able to arrive in Beijing or Tianjin within half an hour.

Business:

According to the Tianjin Wuqing Development Area, the area has already drawn investment from over 1,400 companies from 50 different countries including 25 of the world’s top 500 companies. It has proven to be a particularly popular location for manufacturing projects. Their website further reports over 40% of the development area is devoted to green space.

There are six leading industries in the Wuqing Development Area: electronic information systems, new materials, machinery manufacturing, automobile and spare parts, bio-medicine and emerging energy.

Shopping:

The Florentia Village is one of the highlights of the Wuqing district. It is located 100 meters from the Wuqing fast train station which is on the line that runs between Beijing and Tianjin.

It is an outlet for famous Italian and international goods. The Florentia Village restaurants offer authentic Italian cuisine along with a number of specialty coffee shops. It takes less than 30 minutes to get there from Tianjin Railway Station via the express train.

Attraction:

The Grand Canal-which runs from Beijing to Hangzhou and is one of the earliest and longest man made canals-is near the development area. This makes the area even more geographically and environmentally attractive.
