Mount Huangshan

Of course, it is not a real sea but mist floating in the vast space among peaks. The “Sea of Clouds” is so extensive that all peaks are submerged, with only their tops visible, just like islands or ships sailing in a white sea.
Within the space of 1.5 thousand square kilometers, there are 82 peaks. Among them, the Lotus Peak is the highest, 1,864 meters above sea level. The Brilliant Peak has a flat top, standing on which you can have a wide view over the clusters of lofty mountains in the surroundings. The Heaven Capital Peak is featured by its steep cliffs. People worship it as the capital of god’s homeland. These three are the major peaks in the scenic area of Huangshan.
Another beautiful scenery is the strange-looking rock against the background of the surrounding sky and trees. In addition, pine trees growing in Mount Huangshan are of a special variety. They have diverse shapes. Their roots penetrate cracks in rock on cliff; Some grow in the edge of the cliff; some look like a dragon, a tiger or other beasts; some stretch out their branches seemingly to greet the visiting guests. When you visit Mount Huangshan, you will be deeply impressed by the wonderful scenery, naturally and unconsciously.
