Tianjin Railway Station

Introduction:

Tianjin Railway Station is one of the three major train stations in Tianjin. It covers 80,850 square meters and is situated between Hebei District and Hedong District. The new renovated Tianjin Railway Station is equipped with modern facilities with multi-dimensional transportation choices available.

South Square(Front Square):

Take the elevator up to the ground level and you will reach the south square of Tianjin Railway Station. If you want to go on a Tianjin city tour, you can start from here as it is adjacent to the Haihe River. To take a bus to Tanggu or Hangu in Binhai New District, get Bus 621 for Tanggu and 462 for Hanggu. The bus fare is about RMB 10.

North Square (Back Square):

North Square is behind the train station and the local people call it the “Back Square”. There you will find the shuttle bus to Tianjin Binhai International Airport. The bus fare is RMB 10. There are also taxis to the airport which will cost you around RMB 50-60.

Transportation:

Since 1 October 2012,the station has been connected to the Tianjin Metro network.Lines 2 and 3,as well as the Binhai Mass Transit(Line 9)intersect at the station,but since the 2015’s explosion in Tanggu District,the terminating station of Line 9 is currently Gangguan Gongsi Station.

Buses are also available here.You can take bus number 621 at the Al station in Tianjin Railway Station and bus No.528 at Back Square Station.
