Autumn Moon over the Calm Lake
At the western end of Bai Causewayois a lakeside park，where a stone tablet beard the etched calligraphy of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty，which reads:”Autumn Moon on Calm Lake”.The lake is a special place to appreciate the moon and the effect of moonlight on the land.
Lingering Snow on the Broken Bridge
It is the most romantic scene of the ten must-see.The stone-arched Broken Bridge is where the characters of a famous Chinese folktale，Xu Xian and a beautiful girl，who is actually a white snake，first met and fell in love with each other.
Viewing Fish at Flower Pond
Flower Pond Park occupies an area of twenty-one hectares in the southwest corner ofthe lake.In its heart is the Red Fish Pond，where people can relax to the sight of brightly colorful fish swimming around and to the briskomelody of chirpy birdsong.
Orioles Singing in the Willows
An imperial garden built up in the Southern Song Dynasty.Featuring green willows and singing orioleso，now it has been turned into a park open to all.
Three Pools Mirroring the Moon
It is the biggest isle on the lake and is actually a park.The essence for itsfame lies in the three small pagodas on the lake to the south of the isle.The scene is truly magical on the Middle Autumn Festival.
Twin Peaks Piercing the Cloud
Gaze at the skies above West Lake，ou’y ll be rewarded with the sight of two limestone mountains past the northern edge of the lake，one to the northeast and one to the northwest，five kilometers apart.

Leifeng Pagoda is a five-story tall tower with eight sides，located on Sunset Hill south of the West Lake.It was one of the ten sights of the West Lake because of the Legend of the White Snake.
