The 10,000-year-long porcelain making history of China dates back to the Shang Dynasty (B.C.1066-B.C.562). Located at the estuary of the Zhujiang River and facing the South China Sea,Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Macao have served as important marine trade hubs connecting mainland China to the rest of the world for centuries. For a long time, the three cities were the main export bases of porcelain products. This exhibition, set in three different themes-A Porcelain Country of the Orient.It is hard not to get a sense of pride from such fine craftsmanship that was once so unique to China. With its debut in Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Macao several years ago,  relics uncovered from two shipwrecks from South Song Dynasty and Ming Dynasty.
