Mt.Laoshan is located on the southeastern Shangdong peninsula with a highest peak of 1,133 meters above sea level.It is one of Chinese major scenic resorts with long reputation as the“No.1 famed Mountain on the Sea”.With an occupation of 446 square kilometers,the whole mountain contains 218 places of interest.It is a famous Taoist mountain with mountainous and coastal scenery.There is a legend said that about 2,500 years ago,the first emperor of the Qin Dynasty(221~206BC)came here with the wish to meet immortals,and later so did Emperor Wudi of the Han Dynasty(206 BC~220 AD).Mt.Laoshan is famous for its strange rocks,ancient trees,and crystal-clear springs.The most famous springs are the“Tianyi Spring”on the top of the mountain,the Shenshui(Immortal Water)Spring in the Taiqing Palace,and the”Shengshuiyang(Ocean of Holy Water)”in the Shangqing Palace.It is said that the mineral water produced here can cure chronic diseases.

Transportation

From Qingdao Railway Station:

Take bus No.304 to Dahe East Station.

Take bus No.501 to World Trade Center,then change to take bus No.104 to Dahe East station.
