China Changchun Optoelectronic Exposition

The 20th Congress of the International Commission for Optics was held in Changchun，China，21-26 August 2005.Usually held every three years，in the past half a century，the 0lympia of optics community has been contributing to coordination among all countries’optical scientists by creating an occasion of close contact.For the first time the international conference takes place in China，a country whose optics industry has been advancing rapidly in recent years.

This conference was composed of two parts，sessions and expositions.Resources of Intelligence 1000 optoelectronic scientists reputed around world，4 Nobel Prize winners，the President of IC0 and all members of the commission was present at the Congress 20 with attendance of over 50000 engineers and industrialists from over 40 countries.Thanks to a massive participation of 600 enterprises from the world and devoting support from Chinese government，the Congress，to be conducted at 13 venues of tropical sessions and to occupy an exhibiting area of 20000 square meters，was expected to give all participating enterprises a win-win situation.Platform fo Communications International professionals present at conference confered analysisof the industry’s prospective.Cooperation between enterprises and exploration into new realms of markets will be achieved here.The academic exchange，occurring simultaneously at the Expo，will encounter the science with its users.
