Yueyang Tower
1 min readYueyang Tower has been standing to the east of Dongting Lake in Hunan Province since the Tang Dynasty. At the top of the tower you can overlook the Yangtze River on the north side. “The waters of Dongting Lake are the finest and Yueyang Tower is the best under heaven” is known as that famous eulogy on Yueyang Tower written by Fan Zhongyan, a great literatus in the Northern Song Dynasty, who brought Yueyang Tower great fame.
